About The Show

Next >

The first Flemington-Kensington Rotary Art Show will be held in the Kensington Town Hall in Bellair Street Kensington, a beautiful old building, easy to access and a well-known landmark in the area.

Inside it offers a spacious Main Hall, a Supper Room and smaller nooks and crannies, plus surrounding grassed areas and relaxed locations for outdoor markets, buskers and performers.

The Art Show will be held during the school holidays, so our creative team has put together a KRAFTY KIDS program packed with all kinds of arts and crafts activities for children of all ages and indeed the whole family.

As well as a great range of art works to view and buy the program includes:

  • Creative activities for the kids including a children’s ‘Arty Treasure Hunt’
  • Adult ‘come and try’ sessions across a range of arts and crafts

  • Meet the artists – watch demonstrations and learn the secrets of the creative mind.
  • Makers Market showcasing local makers products
  • Make a mosaic or a clay creature
  • Learn about composting and create your own recycled piece of garden art
  • Make a Scarecrow for the Kensington Garden Festival in October from recycled materials
  • Plus, so much more!

The weekend will provide loads of activities for the whole family.

Make sure you visit the Tea Rooms and enjoy our refreshments and a relaxing break between activities.

We look forward to seeing you there!
